PROFILE OF Moundyr GAINOU - FOUNDER

Mechanic

I did 6 years of training in car mechanics at GARAC (a famous French and private school near Paris). This School of Automotive Excellence which has been training the best technicians and car repair managers for over 50 years (and created by the CNPA - French Car Federation created in 1902). Then I was a mechanic at PEUGEOT, BMW and VOLVO.

International Business

In addition to my position as a mechanic, I followed evening courses for 3 years in order to get Master 2 in International Trade at the "Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers" in Paris. I understood that the concepts of Business Law, Geopolitics, Taxation, International Finance and Marketing would be very important concepts in order to allow me to move forward in my career.

Then, I was recruited by SKF where I managed and set up international projects across Europe. I managed also strategic development of sales in the Middle East countries and finally in all Africa. All of this for over fifteen years.

General Management

For more than 12 years, I wanted to do an MBA. But the roles proposed by SKF were so stimulating that I always pushed aside this MBA project. One day I made the decision to finally jump, after years of personal preparation (MBA Center, GMAT, technical English, Management..). I was finally accepted for the double program ESSEC-Mannheim despite my atypical profile.

For nearly 18 months, I studied between France, Germany, California, Singapore and Seoul.
The day after the end of my Executive MBA (summer 2017), I gave up professionally and embarked "body and soul" on an ambitious start-up project related to mobility with a partner also from my promotion. Our project was initially launched during the MBA as an « entrepreneur project ». Naturally, a second project, with a complementary Business Model and in continuity with the first was also born.

And now the Consulting & Coaching naturally.

WHY CONSULTING?

MG Executive Consulting was born from a simple observation. Gather my knowledge and share it with more people around me, in France, Africa and the Middle East. Always with the same ethics and philosophy. Passion, curiosity and determination. I have always naturally helped people I meet on LinkedIn or in life with a wide variety of profiles.

I NEVER COULD BE COACHED AS YOUNGER. SO WHY NOT TO DO IT FOR THOSE WHO ARE HAVING A PROJECT.

Mohamed had never succeeded in having a nice or optimized CV in order to find an internship for his CAP plumbing (French certificate).

Une trentaine d’autres personnes ont été coachées (sur plusieurs années) jusqu’à leur objectif, afin qu’elles se remettent en selle ou changent de vie professionnelle.  Ainsi, une passion pour aider moralement et mettre en place une stratégie personnelle afin que chacun puisse avoir une seconde chance s’est naturellement présentée à moi, un peu comme pour un coach sportif.

The problems I have been facing for over four years are unimaginable. Without a good network, a good entourage and unwavering courage, it is not easy to achieve a launch.

My experience and this passion allow me to be called by entrepreneurs who are eager to get started. My advice allows them to better think through the launch or to avoid sometimes fatal mistakes. They also save time and structure for a more efficient launch.

BEING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE IN SALES HAS BEEN MY DAILY FOR OVER 20 YEARS.
Launch or improve a sales unit, set up a process to increase sales in a country, a geographic area or a new product line. Why not.
Linking sales and business development, understanding a customer's need or solving their problem is a passion for me.
In constant search for perfection in sales strategies, slightly special or special projects thanks to dynamic, competent and passionate teams, nothing better to achieve the unimaginable.
